Short Documentary
status: post-production
The Teacher is a quiet and intimate portrait of Isam, a reforestation worker and father living on the edge of the rapidly disappearing rainforests in Borneo. As he plants seedlings one by one in degraded land, he speaks gently of hope, responsibility, and the lessons the forest has taught him.
At the heart of this story is not only the regrowth of trees, but the nurturing of the next generation. Through moments shared with his children, The Teacher becomes a story of legacy — of how one man’s daily acts of care can ripple outward into a greener, more conscious future.
